"Clean and comfortable, best room air conditioning I have come across on my trip. The staff at the 24hr reception were really helpful and upbeat. I stayed in a single room and it was more space than i expected, ideal for a solo traveller. Quiet area and convenient to a local supermarket, plus not far to walk to the river. "

This is the second time I stayed and I found the food in the formal dining room pretty poor and empty, however the cafeteria was a very lively place with a good menu and tapas. "The rooms are very dated. Beds are not all that comfortable. We had to open and lock the room from the inside with a key that was difficult to use. It took both me and my daughter trying the key before we could get the door opened. We could hear the people in the room beside us talking as if they were in the room with us!"

"I booked this hotel based largely on the fabulous looking pool. We arrived to find it was closed for the season. The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. Tables were uncleared and cigarette butts lay everywhere. Shame...
