"This hotel is in an area with limited number of accommodation options. So we had to choose it. The place is close to shops and car parking. The room was OK for one night although it was chilly inside (winter time in January). Cleanliness could have been a bit better."

"Very friendly and helpfull staff that speak all necessary languages for a hotel. Half pension really recommended because of the good dinners. Pool area is also good for Italian standards. Apartment however is terribly outdated. Everything seems at least 20-25 years old if not older. Beds are thin and not comfortable. Bathroom is from the 1970s. Kitchen is hidden by a cupboard. Furniture is not of this age. Ant problem. No air-conditioning (not that is was necessary, but good to know). On the main building the sign indicates that they are in operation since 1958. And that really can been seen. Supposedly the hotel rooms have had an update. We stayed in one of the Appartments and they are not up to 2023 standards."

"I absolutely LOVED my stay! The hotel service was awesome. I had an issue with my booking and they went above and beyond to resolve it. The room was really lovely. The only downside was that the water had a bad smell and the AC unit made a loud intermittent buzz that was a bit hard to sleep through...but it is a medieval village after all, so there's that to take into consideration. Apricale (the village) is just incredible! I've been traveling for a month now, and been to five other countries, and this was one of my favorite sopts of the whole trip so far! "
