I booked months in advance, asked for a quiet room, was assured by an indifferent receptionist that “all rooms are quiet” (true as regards outside) and was negligently placed beneath a suite with running toddlers. 「There were 2 of us on this trip to Venice then the Dolomites. We flew into Venice around 3p. Getting transportation from Marco Polo airport was easy. We used a bus. It dropped us off at the standard stop in Venice. From there we were able to wslk while pulling our luggage for just a few blocks; however, one of the 2 bridges that we had to use to go over canals did not have a ramp, and it was a little difficult. The hotel staff - Vladimir and Marco greeted us, took our luggage and brought us...
