Great location and nice hotel

Great location for a stay in Trieste. Bed was bit hard for us but I’m sure be fine for others. Clean and tidy hotel and breakfast was very well presented and plentiful. Only thing missing was breakfast Tea.

Wir haben uns bewusst für dieses Hotel entschieden, da die meisten anderen in der Umgebung auf eine öffentliche Tiefgarage verweisen, das Mura5&7 jedoch laut Beschreibung eine eigene Tiefgarage anbietet. Der zweite Punkt für dieses Hotel war der in der Zimmerbeschreibung stehende Schreibtisch, da ich noch etwas arbeiten musste. Leider hat das Hotel entgegen der Ausschreibung keine Parkplätze, sondern man muss trotzdem öffentlich für 24€ /Tag parken. Unser Zimmer war im Dachgeschoss in der 6. Etage, wobei der Lift nur bis zur 4. Etage geht. Man schleppt also das Gepäck nochmals 2 Stockwerke enge Treppen hoch, um dann in einem Turmzimmer zu landen, das fast nirgends Stehhöhe hat. Es fehlte auch der (ausgeschriebene) Schreibtisch, die Kofferablage, Schrank und Steckdosen (2! im ganzen Zimmer inkl. Bad). Der Wasserkocher musste auf dem Boden stehen.Die Balken sind mit genieteten Metall-Streben verkleidet und bieten somit ein wunderschönes Kopf-Beulen-Potential. Da wir gerne zwei separate Decken gehabt hätten, haben wir gleich nach einer zweiten Decke gefragt und sind Abendessen gegangen. Als wir zurück kamen, lag ein Zettel auf der Treppe „liegt im Schrank“. Die Decke im Schrank war unbezogen. Keine Klimaanlage, kein Moskitogitter vor dem Fenster. Etwas warm im Dachzimmer. Trotz durchgehendem Lüften in der Nacht, konnte das Zimmer kaum auf eine normale Temperatur gebracht werden. Das hier in den anderen Bewertungen so gut angepriesene Frühstück verdient diesen Titel nicht.

The staff were friendly and kind. Communication in English was great. The room was clean though pretty small. Good enough for a short stat. The location was perfect, walking distance to many sights and restaurants. If you are planning to take a cruise, best location.
