"Excellent dog friendly hotel. The hotel is next to a busy road so highly recommend booking a lakeside room which are much quieter, large and have a good view. Whilst the hotel is quite tired, for the price we paid and service we received, it represents good value. Meals in the bar well priced too. "

"We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, but it was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. There is no parking space at the hotel but there is a pay and display car park very close by. £6.60 which gives you up to 18 hours. Near Strood station, 5 minutes to Rochester."

"Nice clean room, got parked outside and was able to check-in early. Good choice of drinks, a well supported pub which is nice to see. Nice hot shower in the morning too."

"Staff lovely, food and service reasonable, and the fridge and microwave is a great bonus, as are the takeout hot sandwiches at Breakfast, but the room could be a lot cleaner, it's not nice finding lots of dust when looking behind bedside cupboards for sockets to plug chargers into, plus the carpet was filthy"

"I booked this hotel for a one night stay. Then I read the reviews and wondered if I’d made a bad mistake. However, I can honestly say that we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was quiet, clean and we were treated very well. Excellent value for money. "
