The view is exceptional, looking out over the charming town of Sintra with its National Palace and Moorish Castle in full view from the garden terrace. The staff are friendly and accommodating to all of your needs and inquiries about where to go and which restaurants to try. I truly can’t imagine a better place to stay in Sintra. "

"The location was great. The room was big and clean. The staff was helpful. The building was really nice. The only drawback was thst I could hear water running in other rooms. "

"This property is not shiny and new (it’s an old building) and its rooms may be small but it’s a wonderful place to stay. The father and son Team (and others) are razor focussed on hospitality and do an amazing job. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choice. Good bed comfortable pillows and bedding. We would recommend to anyone visiting Sintra."

"People are really nice and the hotel was clean"

"Place was clean, updated, and well appointed. 10 min walk to the historic downtown. Breakfast was good. We were able to use the washer and dryer for a quick load. Hardest part was parking but we lucked in to a good spot not too far away."

"The room was large but it needs to be renovated, it is showing its age. It was nice to have a balcony but the chairs, table and floors were dirty. The breakfast was nice it had a good selection. We took advantage of the Happy Hour and prices and selection were good. The Lobby is lovely. The staff at the front desk and bar were very nice and accommodating. The location is great right in the historical center. The major issue was getting to the hotel. Uber drivers are not sure where to drop you off and cannot enter the historic center because of the hydraulic bollard in the middle of the street. We had to walk about 1 mile uphill with our luggage, not an easy task and if you have any kind of disability it is an impossible task. Also due that impasse they cannot pick you up in front of the hotel either. All in all, we were pleased with our stay but due to these issues we would never stay there again. "
