The towels were a nice quality. The staff was so pleasant. I was a woman traveling alone. Had my dog, but I felt very safe. Beautiful sunrise across the valley right from room. Felt on top of the world.

They don’t really have any amenities, honestly. They do have a store onsite, coffee in the morning, and pre made pastries. Those are nice. One recommendation would be to make sure the store is stocked. There’s pretty much no convenience stores up there and they were out of Pepto. The people there are nice/helpful, so they do make other recommendations, (in my opinion, Pepto works best for stomach issues). The location is close enough to the town that you can walk to mostly everything in VC.

The room was small, but quaint. We were put into a room that had not been remodeled, which would explain the moldy shower, broken heater and very low toilet seat. Luckily they had a portable heater in the room, but no convenient place to plug it in. Also, outlets are limited, so no extra place to plug in phones or electronics. Since all rooms are non smoking, benches and ashtrays are outside every room. If you don't smoke, it can get quite smokey going in and out of your room. Cute little store. Not happy charged a $10 amenity fee when there are no amenities. Good location, right at the edge of town.
