Very friendly staff and beautiful property. Wonderful hot springs. We were in the Aurora building third floor with a balcony and gorgeous views. Conveniently located to walk to the hot springs. One of our bedside lamps didn’t work and couldn’t get hot water in the shower our first night. Hot water was great the second night. Overall we definitely would be back.

One of the most incredible places we have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was beyond what we expected. We had no idea what a gem was placed just outside of our own home. We had a perfect staycation. so we could jump on the train from Carson City to Virginia City and it was excellent. We loved the rooms, the food, and the spas. Everything was more than we could have imagined. I would highly recommend.

Good resort, facility maintained very well and clean. Plenty of parking space for guests. Kitchen was well equipped, we got everything that we wanted during our stay. Daily towels, cleaning is not done. Some units have washer dryer in units. Else use the one in common floor. Restaurant and market place was too expensive.

The whole property was amazing . From staff helping with anything we needed. The rooms were great and clean. The hot spring was an experience & overall can't say enough great things about our stay. Definitely will be back in the near future.

This is the first time I’ve had the reception personnel check in daily by text about our stay. And accept requests or answer questions by text. Even though it was by text, there was a human aspect to the interactions. Everything was great. The only minor issue we had was the laundry detergent which was supplied by the hotel was Tide. We are both allergic to string detergents but the staff was helpful in suggestions in finding alternatives. The only thing we didn’t experience was the restaurant but the hot springs was great too.

Usually one likes some things and dislikes others; here the likes were very good and the dislikes were very bad. The room was spacious and the view of the meadows, and Carson valley beautiful and peaceful. Unlike being in downtown Lake Tahoe and listening to traffic and fire engines, we could listen to birds and cows wishing us a good night. But the appliances were at least 40 years out of date. An oven with no lights or digital readings. You dial a temperature and have no idea when that temperature is reached. And the whole oven becomes extremely hot with no light to warn you. The dishwasher backed up into the sink and we needed a plumber. The microwave was one third the normal size, and time was set by pushing the 30 second button multiple times. The TV was not a smart TV and was placed high on the wall with an empty box underneath where VCRs once sat. At least I could use the dangling HDMI cable to connect to my laptop and watch Netflix, Prime, or PBS Passport. The toilet was way too low. If you're not under five feet tall, you'd better start exercising your quadriceps. I'm told the Aurora building will be completely remodeled. New everything. If that's true- then I'll be back in the future.
