"Great location, clean hotel. Not too many bells and whistles, but perfect accommodations just 2 blocks down from the main “strip”. Shannon at the main desk was super helpful and kind. Free continental breakfast in the morning. Great value for the money. Would definitely stay here again."

"The room was good. Front office staff very nice and smokey the cat is super sweet. The balcony I had was ok. Not the view I thought I would have but I would stay here again. Comfortable bed and spacious room."

Feb 17, 2020I found out from a long time local that the Mark Twain museum is phony, the original location of his office is now Grandma's Fudge Factory. History should never be phony or embellished. LUCKILY the museum was closed so i couldn't waste my money.

Feb 10, 2020So fun. Saw wild horses! Had lunch at the palace! Shared a garbage truck burger. It was amazing! We experienced the new Escape Room which was awesome. Great town.

Feb 1, 2020Virginia city still has a lot of history despite being turned into a tourist town. The locals are all friendly and charming. The town does shut down at night with the exception of a couple of bars so be prepared

Jan 5, 2020I loved the main strip. It felt like I went back in history. I hope to have a day to explore the town at some point since we didn’t get to this time.
