I could easily walk into the town and along the towpath or out to the sea. There are benches along walking paths to stop a bit or read for a while. I enjoyed the small town ambiance.

Room was nice. Food was good. Some issues. Toilet kept running had to keep pressing the button to get it to stop. Room was advertised as a king bed, instead got two singles pushed together. Some things on the breakfast buffet weren't refilled from the day before.
