"Disappointing stay, especially as I have stayed here twice before and previously been very satisfied. There was no hot water or heating, making the room very uncomfortable. I was told on arrival that food orders would stop at 18:00, but not that the menu would be extremely limited with no vegetarian options. Despite being advised the hotel would close at 23:00, the bar was shut and the hotel effectively closed by around 20:30. Breakfast was equally poor, with no staff present, very limited, low-quality food, and again very few vegetarian options. Overall, the lack of basic amenities, poor service, and substandard food made this a very disappointing stay."

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful Village. Great layout with attention to detail such as lighting options, bathroom fixtures and wood burner. We had a great break and would like to visit again."

"A lovely place. Situated in a small village/hamlet near to Ingelton. There are popular walking routes nearby in each direction, including the Three Peaks. The cottage was quaint and very homely. Many of the home comforts were provided and essentials for cooking. Found it overall a very pleasant place to stay. "

"Accommodation was average but the cleanliness let it down. The bedding was clean and fresh but we had old tea spashes on the unit and also someone's old toilet usage was still stick to the pan. "Wasn't the nicest thing to have to clean when I've paid to stay at a hotel" overall would I stay again. Yes I probably would as it may have been a one off... Some of the furniture and decor had seen better days too "
