Carmel Fireplace Inn

Carmel Fireplace Inn

8/10 Good
"The fireplace was very nice when the fog rolled in. Bed was very comfortable and linens top quality. If you need a room on the ground floor, you MUST request it. They do not have accessible rooms. We had a disabled 82 year old who had to climb16 stairs on a cane. We asked to be placed downstairs and was told no rooms available, yet most checked in after us and were on the ground floor. The front desk was NOT accommodating. Lesson learned, request specific needs. Very clean room, not a new place but quaint and nice. Also, we booked for 2 couples, yet our rooms were not close at all. Won’t stay there again, too many other choices."
