「The character of the castle is excellent. Christian toured me around the proper and is a superb concierge. The room itself is lacking. It smells strongly of mildew. Carpeting is worn. Amenities like coffee and cookies need an update. The food at dinner was overly salted and the service declined during the dinner - strong start and a weak finish.」

「Fantastic hotel, amazing staff and location perfect. The small town of Leighlinbridge had many hidden gems! Food was great, both breakfast and the restaurant. Only small niggle was the tired bedroom and en suite, which whilst perfectly functional, could do with a refresh.」

「The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the staff went out of their way to help us. We were assigned a "family" room with an inredible view, even though we had requested a King. There was no problem in switching over - we understood that the girl at reception was giving us an upgrade with the view, but we preferred the larger bed. Our rate included breakfast and dinner. We had the same server (Erica) each night, and she was so fantastic.」

「We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

「The welcome at reception was very friendly with plenty of useful advice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bar was a pleasure and the breakfast/coffee room was well supplied. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay and only a ten minute walk to the town centre. Highly recommended.」

It’s adorable and you feel like you walked onto a movie set. The room was super comfortable & spacious with everything that I needed. Great bed & very quiet. I highly recommend this property. 「The staff were super helpful and attentive.We ate in the restaurants in the evening as well as breakfast, and the food was good.The main problem with this htel being the noise from the live music and disco,which went on until the early hours,which would have woke a man in a coma,so if you dont mind having no sleep its fine」
