The hotel staff were great, there were some maintenance issues in both rooms i stayed in room 309, the toilet pan is badly stained with lime scale and the faucet is loose on the vanity unit, Room 108 - the toilet pan is loose from the mounting bracket in the wall and the wall tiles have cracked because of that

A Treat of a Stay

From arrival until departure the team at the Talbot I found the team to be warm, professional and attuned. Their service appeared effortlessly seamless. The bedroom was spacious and I had a lovely sleep in my super comfy bed, on gorgeous pillows. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The corridors to the bedroom could do with a refresh but other than that the Talbot Hotel was a treat of a stay!

Room was spacious but had a car park view. Not great. Also they took our dirty towels but didn’t replace clean ones. I had to call down for some. Also the shampoo condenser item which was stuck on the wall fell down in the bath. Having asked it was put back, but then it fell again at 5.30am with an almighty bang, which woke us up and scared us.
