"The view of the beach was beautiful but the hotel was worn out and the absence of floor coverings in the rooms made it quite loud. The Coral had a lot of kids and young people and it was quite loud at night. Staff were not as friendly as the first time I visited. It is a uniquely beautiful place but I’m not sure that the price was worth it for this location. We stayed at the Royal a few years ago and it was nicer. "

"The best part about my stay at this property was the caring and friendly staff and access to the Atlantis. Otherwise, the property lacks views (my room was facing the back of the property and there was constant humm of the next property's giant AC and garbage pick up right underneath my window at 7 am each day). The breakfast was very bland with the same mix of foods for 6 mornings straight. Both spaces where the breakfast was served were very overcrowded in peak hours of 8-10 am, with not enough tables to sit every family, not enough staff to bring in more food and coffee, to monitor if there were clean plates and cutlery available, and to take away the dirty dishes that clients had no where to pile up but to leave on their tables, with line ups first to get food, then to find a clean table. My advise, if you're not there at 7 am for your breakfast, it won't be enjoyable. Dinners at the property were alright, but service was slow at times and food was often too salty. I will not be coming back to this particular spot. "

"Wonderful accommodations in a great location. Comfortable room with lovely common areas featuring interesting historical information. Well maintained, housekept and attended. Good food and drink - but several convenient off-site options as well. "

"Overall Amazing place. The beaches are spectacular and pristine. We snorkled every day and every day we saw sea turtles and tons of beautiful fish. In the hotel grounds there are pools with sea turtles, rays, sawfish, sharks, etc. The waterslides are exciting even for older kids and adventurous adults, and the the rapid river is huge, wraps around the whole park area and is tons of fun. There are lifeguards all over, and lifejackets readily available for little ones. The beaches have plenty of loungers with shade covers. There are lots of options for food and drinks while you by the pool or on the beach. The pools are also numerous and beautifully designed. Lots of options for dining. Lots of nightlife as well: casino, night club, teen night club, arcade, a colonial style street scape with reataurants, stores, and cool places to grab drinks. Truly relaxing spot, and incredibly beautiful. Ok so what wasn't so great: The prices are wild...no other way to say it. This is partly due to the fact that this is an island and everything is imported (food an drink). But everyhing at Atlantis is exceptionally expensive. A pizza will set you back 70 bucks. Minigolf costs 44 dollars US per person. Why? The place was built in 1990 and is showing its age. Lots of minor repairs needed. Usually 50% of waterslides open on any given day. Overall amazing though and wonderful people. We'd go back. "
