「Lovely gem of a pub with great food, lovely ambience and super-friendly host and staff. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious and at the price point was excellent value for money. Great stop-off point just a few minutes off the motorway. At the price point it is great value. Oh, and the delicious breakfast was carefully prepared and presented. I must sound like a relative or shareholder! 😊」

「When we arrived and went to reception to check it the lady was very welcoming and professional and friendly she explained about the lodge and what was available and gave us the keys to our lodge when to the lodge it was absolutely stunning very clean fresh and perfect the hot tib was maintained each morning and all staff were availbale if we needed anything this place is the best lodge we have stayed in 100% recommended 」

「There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. 」

「Amazing little hotel and super friendly staff I’ve stayed at this hotel maybe 8 times and I keep coming back for the good service and good location. The rooms all are unique and have character which is more than you can say for 99% of hotels these days 」

「Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other . The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn. The breakfast was excellent & as a vegan the staff went out if their way to make sure that I had a good breakfast that I could eat . My brother...

「The apartment was in lovely condition and well maintained but what I appreciated most was the host’s responsive communication and kindness. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant and stress-free, even calling a cab for us when I had issues with my phone. Highly recommended!」
