"The shining star of this wonderful hotel is the staff. Everyone from the doorman, the front desk staff, the chefs and the waiters, the room attendants to the maintenance staff were extremely friendly with big smiles and greeted us whenever we crossed their paths. A few staff that stood out were Restaurant Manager Roxane, kitchen staff Danielle and waitresses Faith and Asheda. The location was perfect and only steps from the heartbeat of the V&A Waterfront. The breakfast selection was excellent. The pool area and pool were lovely. Our room was a nice size with a big shower and comfortable beds. We highly recommend this wonderful property and when we return, we most definitely will stay here again."
"The staff is great, but the place itself is awful. The location sucks, very noisy, the windows don't close tightly, the rooms are not sound proofed, the air conditioning is very noisy and does not work properly. The rooms are very tiny, I asked to be moved to a different room and the receptionist at the front desk did not know where to put me because all the rooms were noisy. I would give this place a 2 star. "

"The hotel is definitely showing signs oif the need for a refurb. Tired flooring in bar and restaurant, ridiculously noisy AC units, doors to balcony need updating as do the bathrooms.
Staff were generally excellent and breakfast selection was good.
I stayed in a 6th floor Deluxe Executive room but overall I felt I was paying for the location rather than any other luxuries."
