Wonderful hotel in an amazing location. Staff were superb throughout the stay, with the reception desk team being a great laugh. My new favourite hotel in Cape Town.

The staff are awesome! Friendly and very helpful. They indulged me with amenities, kindness & service. They could not do enough. It was a fun place to stay and is centrally located near so many activities. Amazing!!

Ideal position for waterfront . Helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Roof top pool is a small lap pool and often noisy . Only 4 sunbeds .

Great staff but no aircon
Check-in experience was great. Air conditioning wasn’t working (maintenance was unable to fix it and we weren’t able to move rooms). In room temp stayed between 27-28 degrees. Very uncomfortable for us and our 9 month old. Staff were good and offered a 50% refund.

Mostly Very Positive Experience
Fabulous location at the edge of the V and A Waterfront area. Very clean with upbeat staff. It has a cool, modern vibe. Our rooms were very quiet. We did have an issue with the air conditioning not working the entire stay. The room wouldn't get below 24C or 25C.

Great hotel and location. The welcome G&T at check in was a nice touch but wow I wasn’t expecting two single beds in the room. The room felt small and cramped but then again you don’t go to Cape Town to hang out in your room.

Cool hotel
Amazing staff , every so warm & welcoming . Offered drinks on arrival and luggage to room . Nothing was every an issue . Breakfast was superb with huge choice of quality food . Only negative would be the pool , it’s way to small and not a relaxing pool area as it doubled up as eat and drinks area , with loud music , although se love a swim we didn’t use it , we never see anyone use it in the 4 days we were there . Excellent location and great value Highly recommend for city stay

We stayed in a 3-bed family room which was great for us. View of Table Mountain was amazing. Cannot fault the staff they were incredible. Breakfast was well priced and we loved how it included a buffet and ala carte options. Unlimited free bottles of water to the room throughout our stay and a lovely little welcome package and note. The gym was simple but had a variety of cardio machines and cable machines plus free weights. Rooftop pool felt warm and what a view :)

We had a fantastic stay at the Radisson Red V&A Waterfront Cape Town. The hotel is in a prime location for food, shopping, sights etc. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. I did have a couple issues which the hotel took care off very quickly and efficiently. I look forward to my next stay at the Radisson Red V&A Waterfront when i am back in Cape Town.

From the moment we checked into this hotel, we were graciously treated by all of the staff. Every staff member here goes above and beyond to ensure you have a positive experience. Dennis the bartender was awesome as were the other bartenders. I will definitely return back to this hotel.

The hotel aims for a hip atmosphere. My room was fine, with a side view to Table Mountain. The front desk people were quite friendly but not super organised. When I arrived at 3, I was told my room would be ready by 4 (it was 5). They temporarily lost a bag I left with them, until I found it in the back of the luggage room. They said their key-card-making machine wasn't working, so they escorted me to the room to let me in and said they'd bring a key by later (didn't happen). Finally, on check-out I was told I owed 30-something rand for taxes, and no, they didn't have change for my 50 rand note.

The hotel has major construction work and one day in particular was very noisy with drilling etc from 8am to 4pm. Neither Expedia or the hotel had contacted me informing of the works and allowing a change of hotel at no charge. The works look as they could be going on for sometime. Without the construction I would score the hotel much higher and the staff were super throughout my stay. Also great location and good breakfast.

We had a great stay at the Radisson RED. The hotel is situated in the best location. It is a short walk to V&A Waterfront with restaurants, shops, pubs and street music. It is a really nice area. The hotel is close but far enough away to be very quiet. There are a few restaurants right outside (2 minute walk), one for breakfast (The Yard) and the other great for dinner (Si Cantina) The staff were fantastic. The room was comfortable and clean 5 stars. Highly recommended

Clean, quiet rooms in the Silo District, just a few steps from the V&A Waterfront and a safe walk to the CTICC. Rooms facing the waterfront had a small balcony which was great for enjoying morning coffee. The roof has a bar and food truck as well nice view of sunset over the stadium as well as Table Mountain.
