"Staff was so friendly and let us check in at 9am when check in starts at 4! Great parking, beautiful view, excellent room, very clean. Table in room was broken and placed sideways with broke leg on arrival but unneeded in our room anyway :) everything was perfect! Will book again. Pool looks neat at night too and was freshly painted today. "

"The Avondale is a clean, well-run hotel, right across from the beach. Location is excellent for restaurants and shops. While it is not a fancy place, it is very comfortable and spacious, with rooms having their own balcony. We look forward to staying there again."

"Hotel is in a very nice area where we can walk and not have to move the car very convenient when you have a small child. The rooms are nice and big and very clean."

"The motel was more modern than most wildwood motels. Overall, very clean and the maid service was friendly. However, the room smelled like mold. There were dryer sheets hanging from the vents. Lastly, the hotel manager was grumpy. I hate to write anything negative about people because I am also in customer service and try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But in the 5 days we were there, she was grumpy all those days!"
