「Very nice and conveniently located near airport」

「La Terraza was an absolute delight. The staff and owners couldn’t have been more friendly, more helpful, more accommodating. We stayed in the El Rio apartment. A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. 「The staff was very kind and courteous. It is a family run business as are many smaller hotels in Costa Rica. We felt safe and secure. It was a very basic room , but it was clean and comfortable. Again, the staff was the best.」

「There was a significant amounts of ants on the floor of the hotel room. The photos made the pool seem bigger than it really was.」

「Room and bathroom were clean. We had a late flight in the San Jose, so checked in at the hotel after midnight, when nobody was there at the front desk, but we received clear instructions for checkin by messages and also from the taxi driver who picked us up. So, it went smoothly.」

「Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. The surrounding location is fairly industrial so we were surprised when we saw the huge gate open and the oasis within.」

We were surprised and disappointed, especially since we have not received any response regarding our refund. Very poor communication and an overall frustrating experience.」

Das Haus liegt eingebettet in einem wunderschönen Garten inkl. eigener Kaffeeplantage. Ein schmaler Fluss umgeben von Bäumen grenzt direkt an. Der Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und geht auf alle Fragen und Bitten ein. Wir haben selbstgemachtes Mangoeis bekommen, sowie einen selbstgemachten Saft aus Cas-Früchten.
