「We had such a wonderful experience staying here! The property was beautiful and had such a peaceful, jungle-like feel, even though it was conveniently close to town. It felt very private and surrounded by nature, and we were lucky enough to see several different types of birds during our stay. 「La Terraza was an absolute delight. The staff and owners couldn’t have been more friendly, more helpful, more accommodating. We stayed in the El Rio apartment. A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. The owners, Charles and Peter, were an absolute delight. We talked through the entire breakfast and Charles even joined us one day for breakfast. The staff was also delightful. Mauricio...

「Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. The surrounding location is fairly industrial so we were surprised when we saw the huge gate open and the oasis within.」

「Room and bathroom were clean. We had a late flight in the San Jose, so checked in at the hotel after midnight, when nobody was there at the front desk, but we received clear instructions for checkin by messages and also from the taxi driver who picked us up. So, it went smoothly.」

「This is a very special and unique property. Kenneth and his family are excellent hosts. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious, and served outside on the patio. Kenneth was gracious enough to send us home with some beautiful mangos too. By the time we had to leave we felt like family. We will definitely return. Many thanks to Cariari Bed and Breakfast 🙏」
