"Barceló was a very beautiful clean hotel. Rooms are spacious and a nice place to relax and explore Madrid as it is located next to via grand which basically connects to all the museums and palaces and shopping. Rooms have A/C breakfast was good and nice aromas in lobbies and hallways. Very little channels on the tv a few channels in English but I would highly recommend staying here. "

We asked to be upgraded, and of course for a significant cost, the new room was outstanding! A completely different experience.
