BEWARE: BED BUGS AT THIS PROPERTY IRRESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT
We had booked a 6-night stay at this hotel but cut our stay short due to recurring bed bug bites found after 3 nights. My sister woke up every morning with new red dots and was diagnosed by both a local doctor (in person) and an international doctor (virtually) with bed bug bites. This was a traumatic experience for us and mentally distressing.
However, management attempts to shirk responsibility and refuses to fully refund claiming that the hotel has no bed bugs and the source of such bites could've been from elsewhere.
We have strong reason to believe that the hotel is the source of bed bugs: 1) my sister woke up every day with new bites; 2) besides the hotel, we have not been to the same place twice; 3) new bites have only been found in the mornings after spending the night in the hotel; 4) after we left room 215, she stopped experiencing bites; 5) this was the first hotel we stayed in since arriving in Bali. This surely is not coincidental.
The hotel did conduct a pest control search post our complaint but found no bed bugs. However, the absence of visible bed bugs and stains does not necessarily negate the possibility of their presence, given they are adept at evading detection even during professional searches. The hotel continues to refuse to refund us, which is utterly unacceptable.
Besides bed bugs, this hotel is more 3-star than 4. Pictures are better than reality. BEWARE AVOID. NOT WORTH IT.
