VC Boutique Review Feb. 2024

VC Boutique is in a convenient location. NO front desk. No security. Room was swept one time in 8 days after asking. Ants on kitchen counter. No wall plug in covers. Some light fixture were just bulbs. You are given a key. Claudia ( property manager) is very sweet. No English. Had friends play $400 less for a week for a very nice room, front desk, pool and restaurant on property. Could not get out of cancellation clause so stayed but would not again.

5th Hotel stay- in Yucatan peminsula VC Boutique

First of all this hotel is not iver 4,000 squared feet as advertised on hotels.com by owner. Mostly around 400 squared feet, so that is already wrong by owner. Then at the end the owner tried to charge me more than we agreed upon and as stated on my receipt from hotels.com. The owner stated that it was because of the Mexican peso exchange, but I had always agreed to pay in dollars. Plus the owner knew exactly what was on my receipt before charging me because on of the workers told the owner over a phone conversion, which i heard on the side. After a lot of going back and forth the owner still hasn't given me back my money and am waiting on them to pay me back what they shouldn't have charged me. I would suggest to look at your room charges for anyone that will be staying at VC Votique hotel in Cozumel. That said, the room was very clean by the nice worker lady who met us. Towels and linen were also very clean, let us borrow beach towls, and leaves a 5 gallon of purified water for use. The location is awesome, but this area is not very large so you can stay at many other locations and still be within 5 minute walk to the beach-keep that in mind. The rooms are narrow but long, and the bathroom clean but small. I give hotel good ratings because of location and cleanliness but low ratings because of owner trying to overcharge me and trying to justify charges that have no justification.

Best location and service in Isla Mujeres!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at VC Boutique. It was a nice apartment and location, across from a beautiful beach. It was within walking distance from many restaurants and a convenience store. It was a nice bonus to have a golf cart rental on the first floor. Finally, I cannot praise the owner highly enough. He was an extremely warm, friendly and bilingual host, going out of his way to make our stay comfortable. We already recommended this place to our friends who will be visiting the island soon. We will definitely go back to the VC Boutique!
