I have stayed at Sundown Villas on 3 previous occasions and again I am more than happy to say that I would stay here again at the price and the location for my heeds whe. Visiting the ACT
Tired and run down facility. Thin walls with little insulation in cold weather mean rivers of condensation running down the windows each morning and mould buildup in wet areas.

No hot water for 4 out of 5 days and inadequate old heating system- in the middle of winter!
Insufficient washing machines/dryers for a large complex, we needed to wash soccer clothing everyday and we had to hand wash in the room with no poor heating to dry clothing, 2 washing machines always in use and 1 dryer out of 2 wasn’t working.
The staff did try to assist with the hot water issue but the entire system needs to be changed over to continuous hot water. Very frustrating when you pay $900 to stay for 5 nights and you can’t have a hot shower in the middle of winter!

Good size of villa (40 m2) with seperate bedroom, kitchen area & dining table. Quiet location with large grounds & only 12 minutes drive from city. Excellent value for money. We'd definitely stay here again.

Thanks for the feedback! We hope to see you again soon.
This is a good, practical place to stay with all the required facilities. It is well-presented and a short drive from places to eat. I have stayed here before and been very satisfied. This time there were plumbing problems and the reception is open only restricted hours which failed to match with my working times so I couldn't inform them.
Rooms are a decent size and bedding etc is good. Had hot plates so you could cook. However the appliances were appalling, kettle was louder than a plane taking off. Toaster wasn't wide enough to actually cook anything - tiffany brand please don't bother. Hairdryer also Tiffany brand was useless. Does have good amenities such as a pool, tennis court and laundry.

Great place to stay with friendly staff and Villas were great to stay in.
Very disappointing. Room was definitely not as pictured. Used tissues behind the bed, mould on ceiling, ant infestation in shower, bench top oven didn’t work, exfoliating glove in place to stop shower leak. Staff were nice and the pool was kept clean, that was a positive.

No internet for our entire stay
No air conditioning and the filter on it looks like it has not been cleaned in years. Thank god it was not 35 degrees as is normal at this time of the year.
No information on places to go things to do around Canberra and surrounding area.
We were given a wrist band and told we had to wear it the duration of our stay which was 5 days.
Spider webs on the roof.
My daughter husband and kids all so stayed in one of your rooms, wait till you get her review as her room was totally disgusting.
Will we be back next year ? Defiantly
Will we book your motel again ? Defiantly not
The air con was cold when heat was required and speaking to a couple of other tavellers they had the same isssue. It was warmer inside to leave the air con off although this was uncomfortable when it was 3 deg outside
It felt like we were out in the country but in reality, we were about 17 minutes from Parliament House. It was a one bedroom unit obviously recently cleaned because bathroom was still wet.
Out only concern was that the bedding was not warm enough for the freezing cold nights and there was no heating in the bedroom, only the living areas.
I have been staying here for a number of years with family. We visit my mother in a nursing home in Redhill. It is a good place for us all to be together and close to the home. I would like to see more kitchen utensils and saucepans.
The bathroom in a very bad conditions. The floor is leaking water and the ventilation fan is extremely noisy we had to use the bathroom without switching the lights on because of noise as the the and the lights are connected to one switch. Very disappointed!
Being the middle of winter and getting down to -3 deg over night, the room was bitterly cold. 1 thin blanket is insufficient. Even though we had the heater on all night, my entire family were extremely cold and had terrible sleep/ non sleep because of it. More blankets or quilts are definitely required.
Location is great, and love the little cabins and how they are set up. Being winter it does get cold but the rooms stay pretty warm which is great. Disappointed that there is only a little playground but they have basketball court. Overall nice place to stay.
