「The girl was super clean, convenient, and the staff was great」

「Breakfast was good. The staff at breakfast were very nice. Cleaning the room the lady had an attitude,When we ask for towels. Rooms get cleaned every other day. Housekeeping leaves bags of towels in hallway hard to walk to elevator.」

「Staff did not maintain breakfast area as they were slow to refill food options and during our multiple days of our stay they did not have any coffee — pots were empty — and staff had no urgency to refill the pots. Had to go elsewhere for food and coffee. Room had very worn and dirty carpet — needs to be replaced.」

「This Holiday Inn is extremely run down- was there for 4 nights and room was only serviced once (no the do not disturb sign was not on door) I had to finally insist someone service room. Tub wouldn’t drain had to take a shower in bath full of water. Called and they sent maintenance but because the room wasn’t serviced in a timely fashion the soap scum remained on tub. Positives were front desk was very friendly and the free coffee is actually very good- won’t be returning」

「My husband and I had a great stay at the the Microtel hotel in Opelika. The front desk staff was courteous and efficient. The room was clean and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was better than most of the complimentary breakfasts offered by hotels. All for a good price. We will definitely be back!」

「We ended up staying three nights, not once was the room was cleaned. We had to ask for towels every day and then had to go get them from the front desk. The so called breakfast was disgusting everyday. I wanted to French vanilla creamer, which was there on Monday morning. I had to ask for some on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, and they gave me what they wanted me to have, I couldn’t select how much I wanted for my coffee.」

「Simple, clean, coffee, water (by the gym) available all day... Ample parking. Coffee is a great perk when leaving at 4 am for a flight. If you don't need to be walking distance from AU, hands down best pick, if the hotel itself is the priority and not the warm fuzzy welcome. Definitely would stay again. Much better than other area hotels. Including previously stayed at townplace suites and the graduate. I would stay here again, would not stay at either of the other places again. And if...
