"The location was ok and the hotel was as expected. It was very very quiet being off season though. The town is a 15 minute walk. The restaurant in the hotel is very expensive so we used a sandwich shop up the road. We booked this hotel because we came for the marathon & needed access to a gym, but the gym was a small room and the equipment was really old and most didn’t work. Not what we expected from a 5 star hotel. We stayed in a Suite room but the noise was really bad we could hear the room next door using the shower and flushing the toilet. The hotel noise was also really loud in the mornings the banging and bumping around from housekeeping and the restaurant downstairs "

"Hotel had just opened after the winter break, everything was clean and tidy. There weren't many guests this weekend and staff were finding their way around. "The room was gorgeous and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. Our toddler loved the space to play and swim, and we all really enjoyed the breakfast every day. Hopefully we will be back one day!"
