The hostel is really nice. They have a free bus to the esplanade and free breakfast.

A very cool hostel
Good quality for the price. Public toilets and showers are quite clean. Staffs are very friendly. There was an animal show with lizard, snake, and crocodile.

You should definitely stay here
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hostel was clean and comfortable, they have a swimming pool, pool table and lots of different activities. Free parking and wifi was a huge plus. Location was really convinient: shops, lagoon, restaurants all in a walking distance. Loved our stay here!

They gave us a room immediately even we arrived there early morning. At that moment we were exhausted, so it was very pleasant.

The staff were all super friendly. They are doing an excellent job. The beds are all really comfortable. Its never too busy. The obly thing that was dirty was the kitchen, so even when the workers had cleaned it. It was a state. It just draws in so many flies! I think they maybe could do with perhap upgrading the kitchen

I'm 57 and it was my first time in a backpackers
Room 5: The bathroom exhaust fan did not work and when someone upstairs showered, water dripped through the edge of the exhaust fan on the ceiling. It looks like this has been happening for ages as the ceiling was mouldy and water-damaged there. Wifi did not work in my room. Otherwise the hostel was fine and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Started well with the prompt airport pick-up. Check in good. I had a 4 bed dorm to myself :) probably because they took pity on an old guy. Appreciated by me though. The WIFI did not work all the time so I ended up using my own USB WIFI. Not much around the area so just walked the streets. Will return next week for a longer stay, and will do more then. I will update the WIFI situation in my next review.

Cairns stay
Having a free shuttle to town really helped. You can walk there, but it's a long way to carry groceries. I also loved the free shuttle to the airport and to early morning boat tours. The staff was helpful and the vibe was cool. Also, the pool was nice.

Friendly and fun hostel
This hostel goes out of their way to provide activities for backpackers. I enjoyed reptile night very much. The staff is accommodating and kind. There was some deferred maintenance that should be taken care of. The curtain rod was falling apart, the sink faucet was wobbly, etc. However the showers had great pressure and lots of hot water! Overall a good value for the price

I stayed here alone for a few nights and then a few friends came and joined me. The hostel is clean and tidy the majority of the time. The kitchen facilities could be updated as there are only 8 hobs to cook on and only half of them work which can be an issue when everyone is trying to cook dinner at once. It's good that you can BYO alcohol, as a lot of hostels don't allow this in Oz.

Typical hostel- loud, noisy, not very clean
We stayed one night here when we arrived in Cairns in the evening. It was fine for a one nights stay. The hotel shuttle arrived almost 1 hour after being confirmed, but was warned of that when we called for it (they said about 30-40 minutes). The hostel is just as you would imagine- very loud with heaps of backpackers. The staff was friendly, helpful though, so kudos to them. The place itself was not very clean and a bit run down, but again what you could expect from a hostel? By no stretches of imagination could this place be referred to as resort though. We stayed in a private room so we were able to get a bit away from the commotion of beer pong and drinking games. In conclusion, I can't really fault the place for anything. But definitely understand that this certainly a party hostel and nothing more or less.

Great place to stay
We had a fab time at NJoy. It was better than we hoped for. Helpful and efficient. Clean and tidy. Good kitchen, no out of date food in cupboards and fridges. Free food available as well as tea and coffee. Free shuttle service. Thanks to all at NJoy for our great time with you.

Second time staying here. Very pleasant hostel.
Has everything you need. Shuttle to city and free pick up from airport. GReat for flying visit. Great price. Accommodating to our group of 4. Free tea and coffee and POOL! Love njoy

Early check in 7am was a very big plus, thank you. $20 deposit refundable but you have to remember when you check out cause they will not remind you (I almost forgot). Gave me room 5 (private) ,view from the window was a closed area between rooms (not good). Ac ,minibar ,bed and bathroom were very good. Room does have some small ants. Cockroach inside room, asked for insecticide and got it. The bus to airport and greyhound 5 times/day (picture available for the times). Location is ok about 15 -20 minutes walk to most of the things, they do offer a free shuttle bus to town (picture available for the times). Book the Cape tribute tour through the hotel ( excellent ). Late check out wasn't allowed 10am( most hotels in Australia are the same ) , and I have been asked to bring the bed sheets and pillow cases. 20 cents for printing/paper. Free Luggage storage. Small pool. Airport transfer was free took the last available bus 4:55pm arrived 5:20 Most, if not all, of the hotels i stayed in in Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands check in 2pm check out 10am . Staff good, but please remember that you can smile. Was there for 3 nights from May 31st to June 2nd.

Small town and therefore not far from anything. Good complimentary van transport to town hourly. Near airport. Clean room. Old but well maintained. Staff very helpful. Free luggage storage.

Value for money - 1 night stay
Reach late from Airport and therefore good location since it's only 10 mins from airport - taxi fare is about AUD25. Room is basic - you get what you pay. We stay for a few hours - reaching 1 a.m and off to our liveaboard diving at 6 a.m. Quiet and good for a night rest. Shower is good. No WiFi in room is little concern since we have unlimited data plan in our mobile package from airport.

A night stay at Njoy! Cairns
Had a private double room, which was adequate for our night stay, but very basic. The room had a strange smell about it, however was not obviously 'dirty'. Staff were friendly, and communal areas had a good atmosphere. Good location close to the main strip and the seafront.

Great 'no frills' getaway
Was a very quick night away but everything was nice and easy. Had a little mishap with payment but the staff got in touch with me in their own time to fix everything up which was great service. Thanks!

The room is very dirty and smell very bad. The towel is very dirty. The airport shuttle is very few and not working. We arrive at night but the shuttle is finished and we leave at morning but it only have 11 seats and the time is too early for us.

The staff was really nice, and would gladly help us with anything. We arrived during the night, so i contacted Njoy to hear about a early check-in. Since nobody else have booked the room, we were able to check in 2 minutes after we arrived at the hotel, at no extra cost. Would recommend the place to others, just acknowledge there are a lot of backpackers.

Nice service with free shuttle bus from airport, this made my choice with no disappoint. Shower area has little bit smelly, but hot water supply enough is more important. Good location, near Carins Central, easy to find food.

Ótimo hostel com um serviço fora de série. Desde o primeiro momento foram muito atenciosos auxiliando na escolha de passeios na cidade e fornecendo van gratuita para ir do aeroporto até o hostel. Além disso, o hostel realiza algumas atividades gratuitas durante a semana. Quando eu estava hospedado, teve uma "noite dos répteis", onde levaram cobra, crocodilo e lagarto para que os hóspedes pudessem tirar foto com eles e conhecer um pouco mais sobre os animais da região.

Goedkoop eerste overnachting voor camper
We maken een reis met de camper, maar moesten een eerste nacht overbruggen met een hotel. Lekker goedkoop, faciliteiten waren prima. Lekker zwembad, vriendelijk personeel. Kon lekker in de tuin zitten aan picknick tafels.
