「Good customer service」

「Beautiful place and setting. I wish we could have stayed here longer!」

「A gorgeous manor house-style hotel with so much charm! The staff were really helpful and welcoming, the bar was cosy and the continental breakfast was lovely. There are beautiful walks nearby, and the town is only a 10-minute drive away. Would happily recommend!」

「Very clean rooms, furnishing is tasteful and well considered. A warm welcome and great chance to swap traveller recommendations with fellow walkers/visitors. Extremely well managed and intuitive to use. Love the boot room, clean public spaces and ‘please use’ shelf in the fridge!」

「I stayed for two consecutive nights and was grateful that the room was serviced again. However, I would have appreciated it more if my pajamas hadn’t been placed on the floor in a corner by housekeeping. 😓」

「Great location, ideal for parking. Room was adequate and bathroom was more modern than room. Breakfast was very good….. self service buffet. No issues. Thank you」

「Beautiful location and exceptional clean property, bit vintage look but very appropriate for such a stay. Very kind and attentive owner. All over very pleasant stay, definitely would stay again Little poor breakfast choice for vegetarian」

「This is a fairly new property and this is reflected in the modern decor, and clean & smart set up. No staff on site but arrangements communicated beforehand in terms of property access and room key collection were faultless. Parking on site so no issues with proximity. We did not have breakfast (book and pay separately if required). River runs behind the property so soothing sound of running (nay rushing) water throughout. Only issue was the green light (fire regs ?) meant the room was not dark...

「This place was simply amazing. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s a very easy pleasant and short walk right to the heart of town. Would definitely highly recommend staying here to anybody.」

「The facility was lovely, the staff, friendly and professional. Our room was just right. It was all very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again.」

「Clean modern room. I liked that there was a small kitchenette included. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the train station/ bus stops. A fantastic stay while in Aviemore.」

「Good place to stay. It was clean and in a convenient location. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was the sound proofing. I believe people may live above floor two and they stayed up walking around until after midnight. Wouldn’t be a problem at all except there is no sound proofing in the room I was in. Other than that a fantastic place to stay and would recommend.」

「No issues with this amazing place, host so helpful and available anytime, couldn't fault it in anyway, would recommend 100%」

「Absolutely amazing and stunning accommodation. Everything here is perfect, from the interior to the hot tub, to the glorious views. When we walked in for a 3 night stay, we immediately booked a further night We will deffo be booking up for a full week next year Thankyou for such a wonderful stay」

「I stayed in a room rather than one of the lodges, and the room was lovely, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It's worth noting its on the very edge of the town, around a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ballater. My only disappointment was that the rooms are not serviced daily unless you are staying for a longer period, which wasn't explained at check-in. It was a little frustrating to return after a long day out to find the room hadn't been serviced, as that's one of the things I most...

「We stayed for 2 nights & loved it! Such friendly staff, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable & we had a great time! Our server at breakfast was so funny & chatty which we enjoyed. Breakfast was probably the best cooked full Scottish I’ve had in a long time. We would definitely go back. I’d say just as an fyi that the bar does get busy so book a table if you’re eating lunch or dinner there. Also, the music in the bar doesn’t stop until 11pm so we could hear it from our room but it...
