"Excellently located with plenty of facilities this is a lovely classic hotel. Large clean room and excellent value. The staff in the bar and dining room were very helpful and friendly - especially as my partner is gluten free. Great palce from which to explore Buxton and the Peaks."

"Good comfortable room, lots of tea, coffe, nice bar and lovely grounds. Probably would gave rated higher but noisy event on and was awakened by noisy people in the early hours (not hotels fault). Disadvantage is the place is like a rabbit warren and you'll need your hiking boots as rooms are far ..."
