「My room was lovely comfortable and clean bathroom was good too. Staff were helpful and welcoming, great restaurant too and quiet it was perfect」

「We entered the front and were met with a warm welcome at the bar. The place had a warm welcoming feel to it too. Once checked in we were taken to our room. The room was lovely. The bedroom was comfortable, clean and spacious. My wife and I immediately felt at home. The en-suite was also very clean and the shower was amazing. Was nice to freshen up after a long journey. There is a large car park at the rear and a lovely beer garden too. Slept well - beds were really comfy. As for breakfast - wow...

「Parking was good, right outside our room. Staff were very friendly and nice. There was a good choice for breakfast of cooked and cereal. The room was clean, did notice a couple of spiders, one small one in the bath which was easily washed down the bath and one above the wardrobe storage, which didn't cause any problems. The light in the mirror one side had dimmed. Very central to York 1/2 and hour and 1 hour from Bridlington. There is a manned bar, but on Wednesday night it wasn't open which...

「Lovely place to stay just a short drive from Pickering. Helpful friendly staff. Very quiet location. We enjoyed dining in the restaurant and a drink at the bar. Breakfast was good too. Comfortable nicely furnished room. Highly recommended.」

「Management didn't think about the impact of the hot weather as the room was so hot and they supplied a tiny fan that did nothing to cool the room. Lots of spots in the hotel needs updating or repairing. Both the staff and the leisure amenities were great.」

「A lovely inn situated in a peaceful village but very handy for visiting the attractions within York and the North Yorkshire National park. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We can recommend the food and drinks on offer in the air conditioned restaurant, both on the evening we stayed and for breakfast the following day. Top marks.」

「Room was immaculate . £15 per night to park car at property I found this a bit pricey but parked there anyway . If you want an early check in it’s £25 which once again is very pricey but you can park up and leave your stuff if you don’t want to pay this . If anything the bathroom is on the small side. Bed was very comfy . Would use again」
