「For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.」

「Above all the staff, dedicated and a passion to make the perfect getaway for their guests. The rooms are very clean, and it is a joy to stay in the room from time to time. Great help and solutions if you need help with something. Booking tours, no problem. Get a taxi, how to go somewhere. They just know and seem very happy to help. 「Amazing place, guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the land and the Mayan culture. The food was delicious, and the place was just beautiful. Onsite hikes in the rain forest and floating the river in inner tubes are well worth it. Also worth seeing the Mayan ruins and cave exploring were well worth it.」

「Room was beautiful, comfortable, clean, spacious! The staff was so helpful and gracious. The food was simple but superbly prepared and everything stood out for its freshness. The property was beautiful, the hikes were as advertised and the excursions were well worth the money and hosted by knowledgeable and very interesting people! This place exceeded expectations and we plan to tell our friends about it and hope to return again! 」
