Charming, clean, comfortable cabin on campground near lake. Shower/bath building about 50feet away. Windows open for fresh air and there is also an AC Heating unit. Very comfortable bed with comforter--microwave and refrigerator provided. Nice little library in the room-I re-read Stuart Little and there was a book of humor by Bennett Cert. Adjoining is a bar lounge, not open on Mondays, with drinks and view of the lake from deck. Buffalo downtown is about 10 minutes drive. Very good value!

We arrived at the motel and the office and bar were locked. There was a phone number posted which we called. Finally got ahold of someone and we were told the motel wasn’t open that day. We weren’t able to stay there. The motel was not in Buffalo as advertised but approximately 10 miles away. We were on motorcycle, in the rain searching for a place to stay. Very disappointing experience!

The bed frame was broken. We ended up not staying. Picture show is of the bar. Hotel said they would not charge us but Expedia would not honor that and charged us anyway.

We were there during their off season. Very little staff was not a problem, we are independent and don't need help generally. Plenty of freedom to move about. Property was as clean as can be expected, room was clean. Will stay again.

We arrived at 8:01pm Sunday evening. I wasn't able to get a response to the door bell in the lobby. A note on the office door stated " No response to bell after 8pm. My wife called a # listed on a property sign. The person she talked to was a former employee who was now out off state. Her explanation of the situation was not encouraging. As we sat in our car trying to determine our next move Jackie arrived. (She had recently taken over the management. ) She informed us that she would call the owner and try to resolve the situation. To make long story short, our $$ was refunded thru Expedia by the owner 's request. Thanks Jackie and the former manager (I ve forgot her name). Their efforts saved the day.

Shampoo tube had a seal that wouldn’t come off so had to wash my hair with the non-lathering soap bar. Shower is designed for people under 5’ 4 inches. No reading lamp, only a single ceiling light. Had to crawl across a bed to continually adjust the air controls. Poor acoustical insulation—listened to neighbors speaking late into the night.
