"Nice enough little hotel on the side of the road. Our room was tidy, but there was definitely something going on with the bathroom. They had an oil incense thing going to cover the baseline odor, which I couldn’t identify. The combo was like something caught fire in an outhouse. "

We didn’t make use of the amenities despite them being a major selling point… we were too comfy and exhausted from a long day exploring and hiking. "This property is probably transitioned from a school, but that does not impact any of the service that you would expect from a hotel. We booked a family room, very spacious. There’s not much going on in the area and it might be the only location you can get a decent sit down meal. By all saying that, food in the restaurant is high quality. "An absolute gem! The lodge was clean, well-maintained, and appeared either fairly new or renovated. The countryside was beautiful and serene. The large deck boasted a view of the bay. My husband, sons (ages 17 and 12), and I enjoyed a beautiful hike up the mountain with waterfall and had a relaxing soak in the hot tub before bed. The room was spacious and clean and had a private bathroom. The breakfast looked fresh and appetizing."
