Great view hotel

Loved the view from the hotel. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We arrived early so jumped in the hot tub before dinner. Service and breakfast were very good too.

Lovely and very clean

We had a really lovely stay here. The staff were very kind and the included breakfast was delicious, filling, and very well presented. The hotel is super clean, everything seems brand new and the room was so spacious. We love this part of Iceland so this was a great place for us to stay- we certainly recommend it!

Stayed in the Aurora cabin and it was incredible. Private and cozy. Gorgeous Auroras and falling stars. Bathroom was beautiful. Floors heated throughout. The main Inn was beautiful too. Nice ambiance. Nice bar area with nice sitting area. We did not eat at the resturant, but wished we would of because it looked lovely and the dinner look good ( private Christmas party). Service was excellent. Very clean. Breakfast included was adequate. Wished we would of booked extra night. I highly recommend. Best place we stayed in Iceland.

We stayed at Hotel Stafholt just for one night and really enjoyed it. The location is close to the Ring Road but in a quiet a bit remote area which we liked. The hotel itself is very new and sparkly clean. The bed and linen are beautiful, the bathroom is high quality and I loved a smell of handwash :) Friendly staff, especially Irena. We would definitely stay there again

Lovely hotel

Beautiful hotel, lovely dining area and lounge where the bar is. Friendly and helpful staff. Kettle for communal use which was great. Lovely views from the bedroom. Comfortable bed and great shower. Nice breakfast. Good place to see the northern lights

Hotel Stafholt is a great spot for day trips west of Reykjavik. It's a lovely hotel in a fairly remote setting, with Borgarnes possibly being the closest town. There is so much to see and do right around the hotel, but eating options seem limited, so fill up on the hotel's nice breakfast spread before heading out! The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with pleasant views. The bathrooms are large with nice amenities. Everything was in new condition, well-kept, clean, and comfortable. Staff members were all lovely and fun to chat with. We would certainly stay here again!

This hotel is pretty new and it’s really beautiful and inviting. The lobby area is gorgeous and the breakfast room was really nice. The rooms are large, stylish, and have wonderful views to the countryside. This is a great location for Aurora viewing! We had to drive a little ways to get dinner but liked having an outing to explore. The staff are very helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. We had some trouble with our door sticking but eventually figured it out. Highly recommend this place!

A great spot to get out of the city

It was a great experience. We were traveling as a group of 14 and felt welcome and supported through it all. The owner is a wonderful man that did all he could to make us comfortable. It is an out-of-the-way location, but that made the Northern Lights even cooler. We were perfectly set for the day trips we took into the peninsula. The included breakfast was fresh and filling. We had the dinner soup one night and it was delicious! His staff was polite and helpful. This really is a great little hotel!

This is a brand new hotel that is very elegantly furnished and decorated. We stayed here for 1 night as we were driving the ring road. The room was quite spacious but we did not really have much of a view from our window. The breakfast was great but we felt that the dinner option was quite limited, especially since there are no other restaurants close by given the hotel's secluded location. My recommendation is to have dinner before arriving at the hotel because the dinner option at the hotel is limited to soup and bread.

Magical stay

So lovely! The room was very modern and clean. We only stayed for one night, but wished we had stayed for longer. Breakfast was included with the room and included lots of fresh delicious options. We arrived very late and they kindly left the key out so we could get into our room on arrival. We also saw the Northern lights outside on arrival - so magical!
