「Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended」

「Hotel was really nice and clean the staff was amazing friendly and professional. The rooms was clean but the only criticism was the room I had booked was classified as a cosy double room but it wasn’t. it was a single room and not big enough for 2 people. Only because a double bed was in the room doesn’t mean it can be classed as a double room. So if you was a single traveller it would be perfect. The food was nice but a little expensive and it didn’t serve pub grub it seems more gastro food....

「Staff were great, room was tidy. Only downside was the breakfast. Wife is gluten free and although the breakfast was labelled really well……they cross contaminated the breakfast items at the server. The chef was really helpful and cooked a separate breakfast but the cross contamination should never had happened in the first place. Putting gluten sausages with bacon to keep warm is a no no.」

「We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.」

「Absolutely lovely place - bedroom was great - clean and had everything you would need at an amazing price. Cannot complain about the room at all. Only had a little niggle with the food as one of our meals wasn’t great but the other fine! Staff were lovely but busy.」
