「It was a nice area, the bugs outside were really bad though. Thick clouds of bugs」

「Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.」

「The view from the 3rd floor was amazing. The room was beautiful. The only thing was the carpet was so filthy it ruined a pair of my pink socks. I just the them out. And the windows on the slider was pretty dirty. But the cleaning that was done by the maids was perfect. Maintenance needs to get the windows cleaned as well as the carpet. The front desk pale were so nice and kind. We'll definitely stay here again.」

「Receptionist was super helpful and check in completed in 5 mins. They were very professional and behaves well. Everything was excellent starting from checkin to check out.」

「I thought this was a unique hotel because, (at least the suite I had) had a huge amount of space and a jetted tub overlooking the lake. The view is spectacular and if you don’t mind cold water the lake is right there to wade in. Breakfast was alright definitely about what you’d expect from a hotel. Overall staff was friendly and courteous and very easy to navigate the area.」

「The room was clean so was the property, the place was not full so I wish they would try to keep the 2nd floor empty over the people on the bottom floor」

「I should have had more realistic expectations but the pictures online are vastly different than the actual property. Pool and hot tub were dry and probably haven’t had water in them for several years. Rooms were dark and extremely dated. I will say the room was pretty clean. I booked 2 nights and stayed one.」

「Smelly- air fresheners so strong trying to hide the must and mold smell. We left and asked for money back. Ty to front desk for assistance. They also agreed the room was terrible.」

「check in was nice. friendly staff. we brought ferry tickets and they were able to call a shuttle bus to take us to the ferry. we came as a big family. my room was ok but one of the rooms outlets were not working. the pool was clean. breakfast was adequate.」
