"The Stay was good and the staff were lovely. There was just a couple of things that let it down. Our room was opposite a car park with a gym and the blinds were almost see through so had to keep the curtains closed if we were in the day and secondly we were woken up at 5 by a huge noise like an engine underneath the room I'm unsure what it was but very very loud. The bed was so comfy though and the bathroom was lovely just them little things that let it down. "

The breakfast was wonderful; the new coffee machine and coffee helped us recover from jetlag; the walking distance to downtown on lightly trafficked roads allowed us to walk down to our reservations in town. "The Bridge Inn at Holmrook. Our room was really comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The whole of the Bridge Inn is dog friendly and welcoming to our pair of 4paws. The breakfast was brilliant. There's a really good selection to choose from and everything was cooked to perfection. We ate at the Bridge Inn every night because the food was excellent. The last time we ate food that good was when we ate at James Martin's restaurant. The menu had just the right amount of dishes to choose from and the helpings were spot on. We never met the chef but s/he gets 10/10. Last, but certainly not least the staff, everyone was welcoming and friendly. There is however one member of staff we would like to mention in particular. Unfortunately we didn't catch her name but she was wonderful. She was there first thing in the morning and last thing at night and always had a wonderful smile on her face and an eagerness to help wether on reception, behind the bar or serving meals. We would recommend a stay at the Bridge Inn to everyone. Well done to every member of staff there and thank you for making our stay so memorable. Thank you all."
