Stunning water jets rise through fire to choreographed music next to the riverside boardwalk of an impressive shopping center full of treats and fun activities.

Branson Landing is a mall overlooking Lake Taneycomo, with a spectacular design and a great range of activities. Its shopping and dining options are extensive, while the fountains and light displays are impressive as evening falls. Stroll along the shopping center’s majestic boardwalk to watch the fountain shows.

Attend the various water, fire and music spectacles taking place throughout the day. Among the songs choreographed with the fountains is The Star-Spangled Banner. Gather with friends on the plaza and gaze up at the tall fountain jets swaying in the wind beside the fire.

Head inside to browse the range of shops in the rectangular mall that skirts the lake’s shore. The latest fashion is on display in the department stores, while the shopping center provides plenty of health and beauty, jewelry and entertainment retailers. Consider purchasing books and souvenirs to remember your trip to Branson.

Stay for lunch or dinner with your family in one of the many restaurants lining the mall. Choose between the myriad international and American cuisines offered.

Go bowling with your little ones in the lanes of Andy B’s Bowl Social. The kids will also love the 7D Dark Ride Adventure and the eclectic Arcade City. Practice hitting targets at the Fast Shot Shooting Gallery and take a vintage snapshot of your family in Buster’s Old Time Photos. Embark on a cruise on the water, looking back on the mall and the fountain shows.

Branson Landing is on the western bank of an offshoot of Lake Taneycomo in the heart of downtown Branson. Drive east from the Branson Theater District for 4 miles (7 kilometers) to reach the site in roughly 10 minutes.

While you’re in this central hub, stop at some of the surrounding highlights, including the Branson Scenic Railway, Parakeet Pete’s Steampunk Balloon and the Branson Landing Water and Fire Show.

We went to Paula Dean's new restaurant and were extremely disappointed in the service and the quality of the food served. For family-style dining the food arrived at our table cold, we asked for butter three times and never received it, the side dishes all tasted the same except for the creamed corn. The spare ribs were great and the banana pudding was great. No one at my table who ordered the peach cobbler liked it...it was a biscuit with a little peaches on it. For $104 for a family of 4 this is a once and done for us. Very disappointing.
