"Pleasant little pub with plain, small but comfortable rooms, in a lovely seaside village. BUT: big disadvantage: breafast is not served until 8.30am, far too late for energetic holidaymakers and busy people staying in the area. When I complained of this in a review the management said that they could have made me a sandwich the night before, but this rather inferior service was not offered at the time."
"Loved staying at Masons Arms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant on sure for both dinner and breakfast the following morning. Can go for walks from the pub.will visit again!"
"Parking was right outside but you have to pay. Slow service for check in and the man already waiting for assistance said he’d been there 10 minutes! We couldn’t even get a bowl of chips from the restaurant and were made to feel bad because we didn’t prebook. Plus 8pm was the time you could get a meal which is very late for many. The room smelt musty, bathroom fan didn’t work, no fridge, loo roll almost out etc"
"Good location of hotel. Toilet did not flush properly and shower leaked onto floor.
VERY disappointed after long drive hotel not doing any food. Only take aways open in Seaton or 1 expensive maltese restraurant.
Town now seems very dead."
"I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered.
Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!!
Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. "
"very enjoyable stay good sea view room nice and clean little tired not a problem staff very helpful good food breakfast very good thanks for making stay enjoyable Ken and Fay "
"Very cute, cosy and comfy cottage in the centre of beautiful Beer. Really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and a great location in a beautiful and peaceful seaside village."
