「There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. 」

「Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other . The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn. 「Ticked all the boxes for a quick solo visit to Perth. I’m not usually a guest house person but this was friendly without being overbearing. Excellent location and free parking is a bonus. I will definitely return when on my own. 」

「Gundie was a lovely host. The room was quiet and clean with organic products throughout. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The grounds were exactly what you would picture a Scottish countryside to be…birds chirping, wildflowers abounding and friendly chickens. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. We loved it!」

「When we arrived and went to reception to check it the lady was very welcoming and professional and friendly she explained about the lodge and what was available and gave us the keys to our lodge when to the lodge it was absolutely stunning very clean fresh and perfect the hot tib was maintained each morning and all staff were availbale if we needed anything this place is the best lodge we have stayed in 100% recommended 」

「Lovely property, excellent service, and marvelous food. The bartender said he didn’t really know cocktails which was a bit surprising and a tad disappointing. Would have loved to go stalking but discovered we had to reserve that in advance. Will know next time.」

「Wonderful just amazing people and such a warm welcome! Dog friendly doesn't really do it justice at all, Bruar might just book and come back without us! 😁 Food is just excellent, dinner, breakfast everything was just perfect. Great bar with lovely locals up for a chat. Great location and perfect for exploring Glen Devon, Glen Eagle's estate. Wonderful coming back as soon as we can! Thanks guys!」
