「Stayed here one night. Jared was very welcoming. The property is off the beaten path, which was just what we needed at this stage of our trip. It is rustic but modern. There’s a restaurant (Sweetwater Kitchen) serving dinner right on the property which gets great reviews, but we had already eaten when we got there so didn’t get a chance to try it. 「Our room was clean and comfortable enough for a quick, one night stay. We never saw an employee, as our room key and paperwork were just left out for us on a desk, and we dropped key cards in a box when we left. 「In spite of reading many positive reviews of this place, I wondered how clean and nice a place called Chuckwagon Lodge and Store would be, Well, the answer is, very clean, very nice, great staff, and a well-equipped general store open well into the evening, with incredibly friendly staff.
