The air conditioning unit was loud and rattling. I ended up just turning it off because there was no way I could sleep with it running. I didn’t find the bed or pillows very comfortable. On the plus side, my room was really clean when I checked in. Hotel and restaurant staff were excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. I would stay there again.

We loved staying at the Broken Spur. The room was very spacious and the bed super comfortable. The rustic but very nice decor gave a fun and relaxing ambiance right down to the smallest detail. The dinner we ate at the restaurant was unforgettable. Absolutely delicious! We’re still dreaming about the delicious steak we ate. The complimentary the breakfast the next morning was just as amazing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The room was clean, comfortable bed and nice pillows. The facilities were also nice and clean. The breakfast lacked variety and the coffee was a little weak. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful.

We hit a deer on our way to the The Broken Spur Inn. Our windshield was broken and our car could only work in Drive. I asked to borrow a vacuum cleaner and park on the grass. A young man came and vacuumed up the glass. Then helped me duct tape the broken windshield. The next day, it snowed 3" and our Tour of Cspital Reef N.P. was canceled. The owner of the in was very gracious and refunded the rest of our stay. Thank you, Terry &:Susan Johnson

We had a fantastic stay in Torrey, perfectly situated for easy access to Capitol Reef National Park. After a long day exploring the park’s incredible landscapes, it was such a relief to return to a spacious, comfortable room that easily accommodated our family of four—plenty of space to unwind and recharge. One of the highlights of the stay was the on-site steakhouse, which offered a great selection of dinner options and made it easy to relax without needing to head back out after a full day of hiking. The morning started on a high note with the continental breakfast buffet, which went above and beyond expectations. With pancakes, eggs, sausage, and fresh coffee, it was the perfect way to fuel up before another day of adventure. Overall, this hotel made for an ideal home base in Torrey—comfortable, convenient, and well-suited for families looking to explore Capitol Reef and the surrounding area.

It was ok stay and the front desk are not accommodating at all. I have asked for a down stairs room since we had so much luggage and no elevator but they simply said no and didn’t bother. We had to carry all our luggage through stairs and it’s a pain to go through this. Breakfast is average and lacks variety.
