Great place. The room was large and comfortable. The hot tub was a welcome relief after hiking. Accommodated our dogs, which was great. We were there in the dead of winter, so food options were limited but the dine-in-room options offered in the hotel were fabulous. Really enjoyed our stay. And the hiking nearby is spectacular!

Thoroughly enjoyed our quick overnight stay! Dogs were welcomed too. Quiet, peaceful place with little distraction. Thank you
Elizabeth was really sweet when we checked in, we sang happy bday to the guest before us since it was her bday. The property looked like an upscale dude ranch. Our room was gorgeous, loved our king size bed. And then the hot tub, WOW. We were able to see the Milky Way while soaking away. Loved it all.
Very comfortable, spacious and clean. A great destination for r and r. Highway 12 from escalante and the Burr trail to the end of the pavement provide incredible scenery. The adjacent restaurant has tasty meals.
This is certainly not what we expected in tiny Boulder, Utah. It’s great location right by Burr Trail Road turnoff from UT 12, for access to the Long Canyon slot (singing) canyon and on to the Notom Bullfrog road for the waterpocket fold drive of Capitol Reef, NP. Took us about 3 1/2 hours, going down the Burr Trail dirt switchbacks. Stunning drive, we even found fossilized oysters along the drive shortly before getting back on paved road. We drove up Boulder Mountain the afternoon we arrived and enjoyed the light snow, maybe 1 1/2 hours from Boulder to go up and over the mountain, see the views, then turned around and came back to Boulder. Check in was a breeze, and they gave us reservations for the HellsBackbone restaurant on site. Our bison NY strip was fabulous. Our room was very comfortable with robes hanging ready for using their hot tub. Very well appointed room with everything we needed including real glasses and mugs, which were a nice touch! I was hoping to wash a load of clothes but they do not have public laundry facilities but are happy to wash, dry and fold for you for a fee. They know how to pamper! Our bed was super comfortable and the room was very quiet. I’d stay there again
Very nice property and wonderful room. The best restaurant (Hell's Backbone Grill & Farm) for miles around. A James Beard nominee restaurant that lived up to the hype. Fantastic bison ribeye and every accompaniment to tge steak was carefully crafted and delicious!
This is a destination hotel that everyone should put on their bucket list! The new owners are absolutely terrific and making so many great improvements to an already fabulous property. Don’t miss eating at Hells Backbone Grill and also the Little Bone food truck, amazing!
Beautifully lodge room and venue. Surrounding grounds were nice and green. Very comfortable and clean. The robes provided to wear to/from the hot tub were great idea other than the fabric was very rough.
Beautiful atmosphere. Cozy room. Amazing amenities: hot tub, books, games, firepits, duck pond, gourmet food and snacks. The host was informative and very nice. Dog friendly.
Our stay was just short of magical. We ate at Hell’s Backbone Grill and Thomas was delightful. Everyone we interacted with was warm and pleasant. A shout out to Nina and Elizabeth. Great getaway. Excellent food (try the goat cheese fondue) and we were very pleased with everything at the property.
