I don’t know why this place has gotten some bad reviews. This was a great stay. Clean, safe, very convenient. It’s right across the street from the ferry that takes you across the harbor to long wharf or seaport district. And also a close walk to the subway. The apartment itself was beautiful. Loved it. The indoor pool was great especially for the couple of rainy days we had during our visit. Such a great stay!

The room was big , beds cpmfortable but the airn onditionner did not work and the room stayed warm the whole teip which was disappointing. The facilities were great and accessible . The syaff was not very helpfull to help us find the parking or fix the A/C

There was weird stains on the beds. The shower floor was dirty. The unit smelled like cigarettes, even if it is supposed to be a smoke free building. Really bad communication has we paid for the parking but when we arrived they did not accomodate us with one. When we tried to reach them, they only reply back to us 24h later and asked us to pay the parking fees again. Really bad experience. We could here everything above us and in the corridor.

Needs so many improvements in UX

Horrible check in, not enough guidance for guests, no attendance after 5 p.m, the reservation doesnt even include the actual name of the property, late introduction email to guests, customer service who is not based in US doesnt know exactly where the property is. There are no shades in the room for privacy. All in all the property needs a lot of improvements for user experience

Great property, zero customer service.

They have a text system that no one responds to. I texted upon check in inquiring about the gym and they responded two day later when I was checking out. I did like the accommodations otherwise. However, Terrible parking situation and no stores nearby. I wouldn’t stay again.

The location was great. The property was clean. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. However, they did not provide enough towels and toilet paper (bring your own). Also, kitchen supplies were minimal. They gave us coffee, but no filters. If you want to park on site, set that up with your booking. It was a pain to add it afterwards. Some reception staff were not helpful at all. Overall, it was a good place to stay and a good value. But, bring some essentials, if you don't want to buy them there.

Good place, make sure everything clear in advance

Good place to stay, close to the subway station. Good condition, nice details from the renter. The only bad thing is their check in procedure. Nobody knew about our arrival at the property. It took us close to two hours to get the keys, with the stress of not being sure we were going to get them. We were thinking we had to find another place until finally it got solved. Hotels.Com was a disaster giving support.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD

Very badly organized. Gave me the wrong key upon arrival. Website states parking available but had to haggle for hours on the phone to arrange it. Had to park far away on the street for two of five nights! Not luxury—- no dish towels (and concierge laughed when I asked for one), no oven proof cookware, the bed mattress was like a hammock and squeaked and gave me a sore back.

Confusing that I had to send photos of my credit card to Global Luxury when I paid through hotels.com. Hard to find the check-in desk because there are several buildings in the complex and the given address brings you to a side door that you can’t enter without a key. Instructions should say to follow signs to the leasing office. Great location, so close to the ferry and maverick T. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. There is no safe in the unit and maintenance entered the apartment while I was out to change the air filter. I wasn’t given any notice about this. The unit I rented was very close to the side entrance which has auto-close door which was very loud every time someone came in and out. Wouldn’t stay there again, only positive is the location.

Our stay was okay, but not great. Communication could have been better — the address listed on the booking wasn’t where we actually checked in, which caused some confusion. I received an email from the company when we landed, but since my phone wasn’t set up yet, I didn’t see it until later. Thankfully, the staff at the counter were extremely helpful and got everything sorted out. The room itself was fine but could have been cleaner. There was hair on the bathroom walls, and the couch was stained and didn’t feel very clean. Luckily, there was a clean blanket in the closet that we used to cover the couch so we could sit comfortably. The kitchen area was decent, but the chairs at the table felt fragile — the bolts were loose, and they didn’t feel very sturdy to sit on. We only used the space for breakfast cereal before heading out for the day, so it was manageable. Our unit was on the main floor, and unfortunately, the blinds weren’t room-darkening. There was a bright light right outside the window that made it difficult to sleep — it was actually brighter at night than during the day. Overall, the stay was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

BE CAREFUL-You can’t reach anyone!! We had booked a suite with a sofa bed. The room was extremely small and dark for three people. The biggest disaster was the sofa bed. It was so old and worn out that you could feel the metal frame underneath —absolutely impossible to sleep on. We tried to contact Global Luxury Suites multiple times. Neither through Expedia nor the phone number provided could we reach anyone. We were repeatedly told that someone would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up until the day we left. We cannot recommend Global Luxury Suites. I would strongly suggest booking directly with Portside at East Pier instead. The apartment complex itself is lovely, with a nice rooftop terrace — and, most importantly, there’s always someone on-site to help.

There were a few places to eat near the pier the view of the city was amazing and the tall boat was great for food,dancing and drinking however the vibe is younger college kids. I did enjoy the few places we visited to eat. The parking was horrible, We received no directions and it took us an hour to find someone to check in… I was left with two keys and no directions. I managed and once the sun came up an employee at the front desk named Craig was very helpful. The bed was so uncomfortable I would recommend getting a new more comfortable mattress for the amount we paid. All in all we made the best of it and everything else was okay. Lastly no TV directions I had to purchase Netflix on my own. This was not the best stay provided by Expedia. I was disappointed.

First off, a few minor improvements on their communication could GREATLY improve the ongoing issues people report. Second the washer and dryer stopped working in the middle of the first wash leaving me with a heap of wet clothes to wring out and try to air dry throughout the apartment. Called after hours emergency number and they said a repair person would be out next day….we stayed three days and never saw anyone and could not get ahold of anyone by chat message, email or phone. Although the unit is in an apartment, the staff do not respond as it is a type of rental and they are only there for the full-time residents. So you’re out of luck since the company itself that rents the unit doesn’t respond. Having a wash washer and dryer to do laundry was the whole reason why I rented this place. Other more minor issues included several light lightbulbs out in the bathroom, the bathtub drained so slowly that you have to stand in water ankle deep by the end of a shower. One positive was the neighborhood. Being by the harbor was scenic. The amenities for the apartment complex were available, although most were in the neighboring building so you had to walk across the street. But still nice to have access. Also good access to the subway.
