"Staff was well trained, attentive and helpful in all areas. The property was well maintained. The villas were beautiful inside and out. The pool by the central or main building was not useful given close proximity to restaurant. The second pool was better placed. Overall, the location, staff, and property was as advertised. I highly recommend this hotel."

"It’s a very unusual location for a hotel which is quite distant on a hill with shuttle service provided to local venues and restaurants.
It’s not an ideal hotel for elderly or guests with mobility issues as the rooms are high and with long flight of stairs. There two swimming pools the largest quite far to get to and with no staff.
The rooms are traditional Javanese Joglos which can be quite charming for photos but very dark inside as one cannot open the windows owing the heat from outside , so...

"Absolutely loved this place! So beautiful and not far from the temple. Would suggest a tuktuk rather than walking though as even in the morning it's pretty hot. Aside from the need for air con, cannot fault this place at all. One of our favourite hotels so far on our trip!"

I traveled to central Java as a solo female to run Borobudur marathon.
There are several 5 star resorts in the area, I spent a significant amount of time making a decision and I am now more than happy with my hotel choice, Le Temple Borobudur.
The grounds are immaculate, designed to perfection with a piece of art or plant or just another unique stupa at every corner, an ideal place for a short mindful walk to start or to end your day.

We spent 2 nights at the Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel and loved it! It was a convenient place to stay for a morning Borobudur Temple tour (only ~15 min to the temple by Grab taxi). The entire property was lovely - from the spacious rooms to the beautiful gardens surrounding it. Staff were very welcoming and always helpful when we had questions. Overall, I'd highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Da Djokja! I appreciated the warm welcome from the hotel staff, especially those in the lobby, who made me feel comfortable and welcome.
The gym was another highlight of my stay! It has a great view of the pool from the gym. I find it really cute of how small the gym is and how much equipment it can fit in there. It is also well maintained.
I also really liked how spacious my suite was, along with the comfortable bed and large bathroom. I also enjoyed the...
