Had some problems with the door and heat pump but this seemed like a one-off event. It is a nice property with a good breakfast selection. I would stay again.

We were visiting Appalachian State for a college tour and this location was great. The breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean and well decorated. We would stay here again for location, decor, breakfast, and value.

This hotel is simply amazing! The staff is very friendly! Breakfast is delicious. Probably the cleanest hotel we have ever been to!

We loved our room. We got the studio which had the king bed with a bunk bed and it was spacious for me and 2 teen boys! The breakfast was very tasty. they were running short staffed and it was abit slow to refill some of the breakfast items . They were very aplogotic and the male worker (I wish I knew his name ) because he was fantastic. He was really moving trying to make breakfast,empty garbages clear tables! but he kept a smile on his face the whole time

Our stay at this hotel was flawless. The hotel was fully packed due to a local university event. Despite the hotel being full of young people and parents and dogs, we didn't hear a single thing all night (and we were on the bottom floor between the lobby and elevator!! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were newly renovated, the bathrooms were very comfortable and the hot buffet breakfast was outstanding! The staff was also wonderful and very personable. Not a single thing to complain about, this stay was perfect!

Greystone Lodge is very convenient to anywhere you want to go in Boone or Blowing Rock but we will noy stay there again. 1) there was urine on the wall next to the toilet (although when we reported it it was cleaned right away but I'm wondering why the cleaning staff didn't see this as it's right beside the toilet) 2) the fitted sheet kept coming off one corner 3) there's no fan vent in the bathroom to help get fog & heat out during a shower 4)we were told at check in that if we didn't need our room cleaned during our stay to put out the do not disturb sign.... Well there wasn't one & when i enquired at the front desk i was told "so fun fact, the bottled water in your room has a tag on it that's blank on the back, you can just write do not disturb on that & use it".... Really? Why should i even have to do that, which i did out of necessity, but they should've given me a door tag. 4) the message light on the phone constantly flashed indicating we had a message, i called the front desk, ended up having to unplug the phone for our entire stay. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Location was great, close proximity to App State without being in the middle of the campus. We did the online check in but when we got there, we had to repeat the same process which was a little confusing. Will definitely stay there again when in Boone.

Their suitcase carts leave a lot to be desired. This is the only thing I found unacceptable. They didn't go over any type of interference like a rug or the entrance to the hotel.
