"Overall, I had a good stay. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and located in a great neighborhood. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and ready to help, especially the front desk team. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed, although it was smaller than it appeared in the photos. The café/bar and pool area were also smaller than expected. One disappointment was that there was not anyone attending the pool bar when I checked it. There were signs showing the pool’s hours of operation, but no information about the pool bar’s hours or whether it was open. The in-room dining service was prompt, but the breakfast was disappointing. The eggs, potatoes, and omelet were very dry. I called to ask for mayonnaise or ranch dressing, and I was initially told they didn’t have either. After I insisted, I was told they would send some if available, but nothing was ever delivered. I mentioned this to the front desk when checking out, and they said they would pass the feedback along to the restaurant staff. Despite these issues, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very nice, the staff are courteous, and the location is excellent."

"Carey lodge is within a theological college. It is a peaceful and calm atmosphere. The staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. The university is a short drive from downtown. I would stay there again."

"We stayed here for 3 nights and really got to make ourselves at home. Our daughter enjoyed the pool, we all enjoyed the on-site restaurant De Dutch, and found it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go."
