「The hotel was very walkable to downtown, but with all the homeless around, I don't think I felt very safe. Not the hotel's fault. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel was really cool looking, being historic and all, but it really smelled old. Not terrible, just like you old grandmother's basement. The breakfast didn't have a lot of options. But there are a lot of restaurants nearby. There is an outdoor pool, but it was too cold for that. I would probably stay here again. If...

「I had to wait a few minutes for staff to arrive to check-in, but they were wonderful to chat with and everything else went spectacular! I'll definitely stay here again. I'm sensitive to scents and chemicals and this place did not bother me in the slightest.」

「I highly recommend this hotel. I’ve been looking for a hotel that is safe with easy walkable distance to restaurants when I travel through on work. Highly recommend staying here. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that are walkable. And beds were comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The staff was also amazing and they had a good variety of food that was well stocked for their breakfast. 」

「Great location if you are going to Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata, CA. There is a grocery store near by and food options. The staff was friendly and the complementary breakfast was good. 」
