Feb 1, 2019Very small freshwater lake with 2 alligators and not much else to see. Did not see much wildlife except for some circling Turkey Vultures.

Oct 28, 2018Go early in the morning or at dusk. The deer nap in the afternoon, especially if it is warm out. Don't make our mistake (and many others from the posts we read), the Visitors Center is in the Winn Dixie plaza, NOT in the Winn Dixie grocery store. In fact it is directly across the plaza from the Winn Dixie.
